Sifu Danny Mansion had an early interest in Martial Arts being exposed to the Kung fu movies of the 70s & 80s & learned “backyard” Kung fu and boxing from his father. It wasn’t until he was 21 years old that he attended his 1st Kung fu class in Chinatown L.A. with Sifu Andy Ang of the Fukienese Association.
In search of more “Gung fu” Sifu Danny traveled to the Northern China Martial Arts School, Ye He Ancient Castle to study more intensively. There he found more rigorous Shaolin Training taught by Lamemen Shaolin Monks. He returned to Los Angeles to find the Chinatown class no more.
His search continued in the Pasadena area while attending PCC. Danny was invited by a close friend to practice Tai Chi in an “Old Mans” backyard. That “Old Man” was James Ibrao, and it wasn’t just Tai Chi. The year was 2005 Sifu Danny Mansion would eventually be promoted to Black Dragon (7th Degree) in 2009 followed by Golden Dragon (9th Degree) in 2014 under Grand Master (Sei Tai Gung) James Ibrao the founder of Jun Bao Gung Fu.
Sifu Danny continues to teach the system of Jun Bao with Sifu Ronald Rioja with Schools in Minnesota & California respectively.
